Barbus Hub hosted a live stream of the first day of the Hill’s Global Symposium, which this year focused on current topics in veterinary dermatology.

Participants had the opportunity to attend lectures delivered by leading international experts, covering modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of dermatological diseases in dogs, updated recommendations for managing atopic dermatitis, and the role of nutrition in maintaining skin health and supporting the skin barrier.

The first of three training modules of the Cardiology School organized by the Ukrainian Association of Veterinary Cardiologists, with the support of the Vetmedin® brand, has successfully taken place at Barbus Hub.

Over two days, participants explored current approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in small animals. Veterinary professionals received up-to-date clinical recommendations and had the opportunity to discuss challenging cardiology cases with experienced colleagues and lecturers.

This educational project brought together veterinarians who are committed to expanding their knowledge of cardiology and enhancing their practical skills.

As part of a collaboration with the Starobilsk Professional College of Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University, students have gained access to a specialized educational program developed by Hill’s experts. On May 27–28, 2026, Barbus Hub, with the support of Hill’s, hosted a two-day intensive workshop in veterinary dermatology for veterinary professionals.

The event offered two days of in-depth learning, hands-on practice, and professional knowledge exchange alongside leading veterinary dermatologists Halyna Sydorova and Stanislava Korzhevska.

During the workshop, participants focused on:

• Fundamentals and advanced aspects of cytology
• Practical skills for everyday clinical practice

On May 14–16, the large-scale USAVA Congress took place in Rivne, bringing together veterinary professionals from all over Ukraine.

It was three days of in-depth knowledge, professional discussions, and valuable experience sharing.

The congress featured leading speakers from Ukraine and abroad, current clinical cases, modern treatment protocols, and practical solutions for everyday veterinary practice.

On April 21, the Student Science Conference «Student Science Days» started at the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S.Z. Gzhytskyi, bringing together young researchers to exchange ideas, experience, and the results of their studies.

The first day of the event was highly dynamic:

participants presented their research, discussed current topics, and shared practical experience.

This year, the conference brought together 98 students, who presented their scientific reports. In total, 956 abstracts were submitted, reflecting a high level of engagement and activity among young researchers.

After the plenary session, participants continued their work in thematic sections, where they had the opportunity to discuss research results and key issues in veterinary medicine and biotechnology in more detail.

Barbus also joined the event. Veterinary consultant Halyna Stelmakh delivered a presentation dedicated to the scientific approach to animal nutrition and the benefits of Hill’s Prescription Diet diets.
